We currently have WAX and ETH as crypto payment options available to purchase NFTs on LGND.art. Payment type does not determine how the NFT is minted to the blockchain. You are welcome to purchase NFTs by credit card as well. Please refer to How to Purchase an NFT on LGND for more information.
NFTs are minted to the blockchain of artist choice, either on WAX or ETH blockchain.
What is WAX?
WAX stands for Worldwide Asset eXchange, and is the world’s leading blockchain for NFTs, both in terms of active users and transaction volume. WAX is a purpose-built blockchain and protocol token designed to make e-commerce transactions faster, easier, and safer for all participants.
How do I create a WAX account?
Where can I buy WAX?
Once you create a WAX Cloud Wallet, you can buy WAX on wallet.wax.io using your credit card. The WAX token is also available for trade or purchase on major exchanges. In order to hold the WAX native tokens, you will need a wallet that is compatible with the WAX blockchain.
Where can I learn more about WAX?
I'm getting "Error: Unable to open pop-up window" when I try to pay with my WAX Cloud Wallet
You'll need to enable pop-ups for LGND.art, so the WAX transactions windows can open in order to complete payment.
What is ETH?
ETH stands for Ethereum, which is the cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain.
How do I create an ETH account?
We currently utilize MetaMask for ETH wallets. You can create a wallet for free at metamask.io. Please keep this information secure and make sure you have the correct account synced when making purchases.
We also recommend creating an OpenSea profile and syncing your MetaMask wallet. We utilize OpenSea's marketplace so you can trade, sell, or view your NFTs easily.

Why do I need to verify my identity?
Identity verification is an optional part of setting up your LGND account. It is only required if you are planning on making purchases with cryptocurrency, and allows us to meet e-commerce legal compliance standards.
My identity was not verified. Why?
Unfortunately, we were unable to confirm your identity against other sources. This may happen for a variety of reasons, one of the most common of which is using a name, phone number, or address that does not match other documents that you would traditionally receive in the mail.
Please double-check all entered fields and try again, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you think there was an error.
